events: Barbecue with Bob Garner

$35 per person

Bob Garner, author and regular contributor to Our State Magazine and UNC-TV's North Carolina Weekend, will cook and serve a traditional NC barbecue meal with all the fixin's: pit-cooked barbecue, Brunswick stew, coleslaw, hush puppies and banana pudding. Wash it down with sweet tea or ice cold beer.

The event will take place in a private home in Chapel Hill and copies of Bob's books -- North Carolina Barbecue: Flavored by Time and Bob Garner's Guide to North Carolina Barbecue -- will be available for purchase and autographing. Already own one of Bob's books? Bring it along to be signed.
