Noted expert on oriental carpets and textiles, Dr. Douglas Lay, will give a high-energy, hands-on, and engaging illustrated presentation detailing his personal experiences in the world of rugs and textiles over the last 45 years, from Istanbul to Samarkand and all points in between.

Also, while enjoying wine and hors d'oeuvres in Leland Little's art-filled galleries, learn all about the rug or textile that you've brought along, as well as:

  • The People and Places: The cultures that have made this amazing art form for thousands of years;
