 | Emily Mills Reed is a textile artist based in Chapel Hill. Her works are predominantly machine knit merino wool that is "felted" or "fulled" using hot water (the same way you might accidentally shrink a sweater in the washing machine). Her hats, scarves, and evening gowns can be found at boutiques and galleries around the country and online at emknits.com. Emily enjoys water aerobics and keeping people warm in style. This piece is wonderfully whimsical and named "Sir Wartsky."
